The 'Selling The OC' Cast May Be Adding [SPOILER] For Season 2 (1)

Last summer, Selling the OC gave Selling Sunset fans lots of new cast members, iconic outfits, and, of course, gorgeous real California estate to obsess over. The reality show spinoff hit Netflix in August, and quickly launched agents like Tyler Stanaland and Alex Hall into reality TV stardom. And, like any good reality series, it made sure its fans became deeply invested in the realtors' personal lives.

The hit show is back for a spicy second season on September 9, but the streamer has been pretty hush-hush on details so far. There is, however a teaser poster where the cast is looking super fierce. (Worth noting: Alex has her arm tucked in into to the newly-single Tyler, which is definitely pretty interesting…) This group has been clear that they're all super close, which is the perfect recipe for some major catfights.

Before the new season debuts, here’s everything you need to know about the cast, plus their Instagram accounts and a potential new star with a familiar name.

1

Alexandra (Alex) Hall

Alexandra "Alex" Hall is "living in heaven selling the O.C.," according to her Instagram bio. The agent has a background in interior design, which will most likely give her a leg up when it comes to staging luxury homes.

She revealed to US Weekly that she almost turned down a spot of the show, but a two hour phone call with Jason Oppenheim later, and she signed on.

This single mom (who may or may not turn out to be the new Reality Queen Bee) is also dedicated to her kids. "Anything I can to secure a future for my children and me, I pretty much will do," she told Women's Health.

Alex also told WH that she was treading lightly with her co-star Kayla Cardona after season 1. Kayla had tried to kiss Tyler while he was still married to then-wife, Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow, and Alex had some thoughts about it all.

There are some people I tread lightly with and have decided to keep at an arm’s length while still being cordial," she said. "I’m watching from afar to see if our morals align."

BTW: Alex has had a lot of rumors flying about her own close relationship with Tyler—the two visited Dubai together and have been spotted out and about.

Brandi Marshall

Brandi Marshall started working at the Oppenheim Group almost two years ago after being approached for the job via Instagram, per US. The mom of two and former public relations executive took to her social media to celebrate her new job.

"My new home away from home!! Excited to officially share that over the summer, I made an important move to The Oppenheim Group in Newport!!" she wrote. "I am thrilled to take my Real Estate Career to the next level..."

Brandi is married to former pro basketball player Sean Marshall.

And while the star shares plenty of the usual fashion pics on Instagram, she also posts lots of actual real estate content. The hustle is real!

3

Kayla Cardona

Thirty-four-year-old Kayla Cardona is originally from Orange County and she's determined to close big deals this season. According to her profile on the Oppenheim website, she started working with the highest-rated team on Zillow before becoming an award-winning agent in the top 1 percent of her company.

When she's not sharing her latest listings on social media, she's posting photos of her workouts, friends, and 16-year-old son Jordan.

And she's got big dreams. “I was so proud of myself—I became an agent [at the old firm], I was the only woman for a long time—I'm all about women empowerment,” she told WH.

As you probably know, Kayla was involved in some serious drama last season and she told WH that filming was hard for her.

“I pretty much cried every single scene…I was cringing, not gonna lie," she said. “For others, knowing them before we started filming and then after filming, I definitely saw personalities change, it was quite interesting.

Polly Brindle

Polly Brindle was born and raised in England before moving to the U.S. after being scouted for a modeling gig at age 15. Her profile on the Oppenheim Group says that she fell in love with architecture while living in different countries across Europe.

Polly was still studying to get her license when she reached out to Jason, and he offered her the position soon after, per US.

When announcing the show, she told her followers, "Sooo I did a thing…SO excited to finally let the cat out of the bag…💫❤️." Oh, and she has a cute pup named Moose who she rescued.

ICYMI, Polly is a no-holds-barred member of the team. Case in point: She had a rather racy skinny dipping scene last season and she told WH that she has no issue with it.

“It was a real, actually, team building moment,” she said. “It wasn't done in, like, a sexual way—it was a very collaborative, fun, funny experience with us all. I lost the bet, that was the bet. And also, I was a model for 20 years. I'm not afraid of my own body, you know?

Sean Palmieri

Sean bounces around between the O.C., Miami, and Los Angeles. And as much as he loves posting photos with his friends, he also shares lots of the deals he's made on the retail front.

"Get ready! We’re taking ‘Selling’ to the coastal haven of Orange County," he wrote in his post announcing the show. "Selling The OC is coming soon to @netflix #SellingTheOC 🌴."

More recently, Sean posted some BTS pics from filming, including himself getting his makeup done while Alexandra Jarvis goofs off next to him.

Sean went to the University of Florida and worked at Sotheby's and Coldwell Banker before joining the O Group, his LinkedIn says.

6

Tyler Stanaland

A self-described "ocean dweller," Tyler Stanaland is a man of many talents. When he's not selling homes, he's catching waves. Big ones. A single glance at his Instagram, and you'll see how much he loves being in the water.

Tyler comes from a long line of realtors (five generations!) and grew up working at the family brokerage alongside his father, his O Group profile says. "I remember the first time I called Jason to talk about the show and it instantly felt more like friends catching up than a boss/employee conversation," he told US.

Tyler used to be married to actress Brittany Snow of Pitch Perfect fame, but the two split last year (very shortly after season 1 released on Netflix...).

And, while Tyler seemed the least interested in being on reality TV, he certainly didn't escape unscathed. From Kayla's kiss attempt to Alex Hall's incredibly flirty "nosies" scene, Tyler quickly found himself wrapped up in plenty of drama. The looming divorce obviously didn't help things.

"Alex Hall and I are great,” he recently told E! News. "She has been somebody that's been, you know really influential during this time and helped me out in a lot of ways and taken me to dinner when I needed it most. And she's been a really good friend." He also added that she’s “been really great to me.

Alexandra Jarvis

The next Alexandra: Originally from Alabama, Alexandra Jarvis wears many hats. On top of being a real estate agent, she also works as a model and attorney. Sheesh!

"This has been such a fun secret to keep! 😆," she told her followers. "We’re taking ‘Selling’ to the coastline of Orange County."

Alexandra attended Auburn University for undergrad and University of California at Irvine's law school, her O Group profile says. And she's got a wedding coming up, too!

Her husband, Sergio, is very, very devoted to this real estate agent. The two tied the knot in April, but there’s no word if Alexandra’s wedding will be featured on the show.

8

Alexandra "Ali" Harper

Yep, there may be another Alexandra in the mix. That makes four total. There’s not a ton of info on this casting decision (or if it's legit!), but Oppenheim Group member Ali Harper appears on the new poster for the show and lists Selling the OC on her Instagram profile.

Worth noting: Ali doesn’t appear on the Oppenheim Group website, so it’s tough to know if she’s a new agent or works somewhere else.

Based on her posts, it looks like Ali just turned 30 in May, is very close with her mama Sharon, and has a boyfriend of two years. Only time will tell if this Tennessee gal actually secures a spot on the team.

9

Austin Victoria

Austin Victoria doesn't just sell homes. He's also a model for Wilhelmina and a father to twin girls Lilah and Hazel.

Austin first met Jason Oppenheim at a party just before the premiere of Selling Sunset, per US. A few years later he moved from L.A. to Orange County, and the rest is history.

In a post celebrating the new series, he writes: "Huge congrats to Jason and our amazing cast and crew. This has been a wild ride and I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else! Love you dream team LFG!!! 🔥🔥🔥."

BTW: Austin is still modeling, in addition to working in real estate. Here's the evidence.

Alexandra Rose

Meet Alexandra #3: Alexandra Rose is bringing her finance and economics degree to the frontlines of the Orange County real estate game.

She was the first agent for the Oppenheim Group OC. And according to the brokerage, she brought in close to $100 million in sales during her first four years on the job.

While she spent her high school years in Dallas, Texas, Alexandra was excited to return to her California roots and sell some houses, her profile says.

During season 1, Alexandra was subjected to plenty of chatter from her castmates, including Alexandra Jarvis, who talked trash about her personality and... other things. Just because you share the same name doesn't mean you have to be friends!

11

Gio Helou

If there's one person in this new cast that can really appreciate a good suit, it's Gio Helou. He revealed to US that before joining the Oppenheim Group, his wife joked about him leaving his old brokerage to work with Jason and be on the show. He checked out the office, where he met Jason, and the two quickly connected.

This agent also loves his motorcycles. Like, really loves them.

Gio has an artsy side, too. He was a producer on an award-winning documentary, his O Group bio says. And Gio made it clear during season 1 that approval from his mom—a top real estate agent—was really important to him.

Everyone loves a mama's boy!

12

Lauren Shortt

Lauren Shortt describes herself as "your local homegirl" (quite literally).

Lauren told US that she was with her old brokerage when the offer to work at the O Group came her way. She also revealed that taking on real estate is not nearly as easy as it looks.

"Working in real estate is no joke – my biggest flex is most definitely maintaining my sobriety throughout my career!" she said.
