Give your new Galaxy S7 a case that will keep it protected, extend its battery life, or even turn it into a wallet.
ByBen Radding &Ajay Kumar
August 15, 2016
Make no mistake: The Samsung Galaxy S7 ($199.99 at Samsung) is one of the nicest Android phones we've seen. Sure, it bears a striking resemblance to last year's model, but what's the problem with that? The Galaxy S6 ($239.99 at Amazon) was already good-looking; the S7 improves upon that with better performance instead of a physical makeover.
On the design front, the Galaxy S7 is ever-so-slightly narrower than the Galaxy S6 (to the tune of .04-inch). Samsung has added a water-repellent nanocoating to the inside of the device, which makes it waterproof. Better yet, the microSD card slot is back, sharing space with the SIM card slot. None of those changes should stop you from being able to use your old S6 case with the S7, but the headphone jack has been slightly moved. So if you want to use a pair of wired headphones, you're going to need a new case.
We've scoured the Internet and rounded up our favorite picks here. All of the cases included in the following pages provide varying degrees of protection for your Galaxy S7, but that's not all. Some cases have a built-in kickstand for optimal media viewing, some provide a boost of battery, and some double as a wallet. Others simply give your phone a few extra style points.
We'll be adding to this list regularly as new cases come out, so make sure to check back. If you're sticking with your Galaxy S6 (at least until the S8 comes out), check out our choices for The Best Samsung Galaxy S6 Cases. Or if you're looking for something bigger, check out The Best Galaxy Note 7 Cases.
